The first thing I want you to notice...

...is that drone shot in the gallery. The resort is RIGHT ON THE BEACH. You could not be any closer. You wake up, you make your little Nespresso in your room, and you wade into the water which is both impossibly blue and impossibly clear at the same time.

This is my only full length retreat of 2025, and there is nowhere I'd rather take you

We do our first night in the historic city center so you can explore
We practice yoga by the pool twice a day. Full length practices including breath work, meditations, and cues for reflection and journaling
We are the only overnight guests at the resort
The beach faces west for the most amazing sunsets
The whole place is made with native materials and repurposed recyclables. Every single room is different, and divine
We eat off the menu for breakfast and lunch, Chef Pedro creates a custom coursed or family-style dinner from whatever local bounty inspires him

What your cost covers

What's included:

· One night and breakfast at Townhouse in Cartagena (link HERE)

· Five nights and all meals at Blue Apple Beach Club (link HERE)

· Twice Daily yoga and welcome cocktails at both hotels

· Unlimited ferry rides to and from Cartagena ($4 port fee applies)

· A glorious boat trip to neighboring islands (appx 3 hours)

What's not included:

· Flights to and from CTG airport

· Taxis to and from CTG

· Dinner in the city, Friday the 19th

· Cocktails, tips, horseback rides, the usual extras

· Small port fee for each ferry ride, outbound only

All rooms have air conditioning, blackout curtains, and a Nespresso machine.

Premium Cabana with bathtub and plunge pool, bed is king only:

Double occupancy $2600/pp, single occupancy $4000/pp

Seaview Cabana with porch, king only, no pool:

Double occupancy $2600/pp, single occupancy $4000/pp

Cabana with plunge pool, king or two twins:

Double occupancy $2400/pp, single occupancy $3500/pp

King Main house balcony room:

Double occupancy $2300/pp, single occupancy $3200/pp

King Main house ground floor room:

Triple Room (2 Queens and 1 twin) Main house:

$600 per person deposit holds your place. Remainder is due in July, I'll send you a link to complete payment at that point.

HOW TO PAY: Online payments through the below link add 2.3%. If you want to avoid this, venmo me at @whereboatsgo and include the same information.

You are free to use the 'goods and services' option on venmo but any fees will be added to your final invoice, so double check and TURN OFF PURCHASES because I'm not chasing refunds around, even though I love you.

EXAMPLE SCEHDULE:

7:00am

Coffee, fruit, and sesame cookies before class. Sunrise is right around 6:15a.

7:30am - 9:30am

Morning practice by the pool, following by a jump in the sea

9:30am - 5:00pm

Your time to order breakfast and lunch off the menu, take a ride on a horse or the ferry back to Cartagena for a day of shopping and wandering, read a book in a hammock or get a little work done, and make some new friends.

10:30am

Day guests arrive to enjoy their slice of heaven.

5:00pm-6:30pm

Day guests leave and we practice again as the sun sets.

7:00pm onward

Dinner, chatting, laughing, dancing, bedtime.

Flight info:

You are flying into CTG at any time on Friday, 9/19 and out of CTG any time after 12p on Thursday, 9/25. Townhouse will check you in on Friday the 19th and will arrange transportation from the airport which can be billed to your room (appx $25 US)

Blue Apple's vibe:

We have the resort to ourselves in the morning and evening for yoga and quiet meals. Between 10:30 and 5, day visitors come from the mainland, boats, and other islands to drink, dance, and make merry. Ibiza and the south of France were the inspiration for this place, so there is always music. There are also sometimes drag shows and performers. BA is a joyful, inclusive, solar-powered, zero-guilt celebration of life.

Food, obv

We eat off the menu for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is either family style or coursed, and it's straight from the local garden, local land and sea, and Chef Pedro's imagination. The fabulous kitchen staff also makes us a little fruit and cookie snack for before practice, and of course they can accommodate dietary restrictions.

What should I pack?

Bathing suits and the smallest items of yoga clothes you have. I go there for a full month and I don't check a bag, that's how little you need. You can do laundry for a fee. If you have something fabulous you must wear for a night in the city, this is the place! But you will be comfortable with linens and light cottons the whole time.

Do I bring my own mat?

Blue Apple provides mats, they're generic but they work just fine and honestly, you get so sweaty it makes more sense to pack a yoga specific towel (or two) than a heavy grippy mat if slipping in your concern. Blocks are provided as well.

What else can I think of?

Your plugs will work. Your credit cards will work everywhere except the street vendors who sell fruit, art, clothing, and other handmade goods. The local currency is Colombian pesos and there are ATMs at the airport and within blocks of Townhouse. Once you're on the island there are not many places to walk or shop at all, so buy anything you need in Cartagena on your first day there or take a trip back during the day!

Last and Vital

Blue Apple is a resort on an island in the Caribbean Sea. There are lizards, there are roosters, there is sometimes less hot water than you'd like. There is modest exercise equipment but no machines, and there really isn't anywhere to go for long runs. You won't need shoes the whole time. This retreat is not for everyone, but please reach out to me if you're on the fence, because stretching your comfort zone is part of what the island life is about.
